I was minding my own business sitting at a red light and a guy rear ended me. AAA wasn't paying my medical bills but they made me feel like the criminal. They wouldn't even cover my wheelchair after surgery! I had no intention of suing anybody. I just wanted to be fixed and go on with my life. I was getting all kinds of calls for bill collectors for my medical bills. I told a friend about it and he suggested I might need an attorney to help. I went with Michigan Auto Law over other firms based on a great recommendation and because they only do car accidents. My first impression was a very good one because I felt like they cared. I wasn't just a dollar. Most people treat you like that and I don't like that. Here, if you don't understand something, they don't let you out of the room until you understand and I like that. My time is never up with my attorneys. Josh, my litigation attorney, was open with me. He kept me informed of everything. If I had any questions, i was able to call him at any time. He's a good guy. He settled my case quickly but more importantly, I was happy with the settlement. Josh also saw to it that my insurance medical benefits were paid by my insurance company. He basically forced them to do the right thing because I knew it was out of my hands. I recommend this firm to anybody. Josh knows his stuff. I know even though my case is settled, I still have an open line to Josh for any help I may need in the future with medical bills or anything else. I'm not just brushed aside because my case is over.

I wanted to know what my options were because I knew my neck wasn't well and I had headaches, back pain and shoulder pain. I knew going back to work two weeks after my car accident wasn't the best thing to do based on how I felt and what my doctors told me. I turned to Michigan for their expertise, their guidance and to help me through this. I had no idea what to do next. But they knew all the steps. They knew how to get me through what I needed with my insurance company benefits and legal representation for my pain and suffering third party case. Tom James was my lawyer. He was absolutely awesome. He was extremely phenomenal with the knowledge I needed, understanding the process and helping me with everything that needed to be done. He's very professional, down to earth, helpful and friendly. His honesty was what struck me above all. Tom was always quick to respond to me with phone calls or e-mails. If he couldn't get back to me immediately, his wonderful paralegal Michelle would do so. They were an awesome tag team who were dedicated to helping me. I felt like I was their only client. I would very much recommend Tom and Michelle. They treated you like you were one of their family - one of their own to take care of without any hiccups and without any stress. They removed all of the frustration.

I had a complicated case against a city and my insurance company was dragging its heels. It wasn’t cut and dry. But Kevin stuck with it and got me through it. He fought for me to the best of his abilities to get me a settlement. Kevin was great. If I ever had a question, he answered, if I ever emailed him he would always answer. If he was on another case at the moment, he would always get back to me afterward. He had a caring attitude. If you have an auto case I would definitely call Kevin because he will always listen and he will tell you honestly if your case has a chance. He holds your your hand all the way through. He works with you and most important, listens to you.
