Nice.

The far side of the moon, illuminated by the sun, is seen as it crosses between our 'EPIC' camera on the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite, and the Earth - one million miles away. Check it out: http://go.nasa.gov/1Dq0IOh #EarthRightNow

Mary,
This fellow/gal trotted along the fence line of the property which is quite narrow. Some neighborhood dogs have done that before and gotten freaked out trying to turn around which is not possible, but this coyote looked like it might be a regular trail.

Thinking about Horses I'm reading Laura Hillenbrand's Seabiscuit for about the fifth time. I sure like how she notes and foot notes. Yes, and of course it gets me to thinking about riding some horses.

This is the Pioneer Precinct we are reviewing not the whole police department. Here they are kind, courteous and ready to help. They are part of the Poplar Grove neighborhood in so many ways. They sponsor our neighborhood meetings, are ready to hear our complaints and help solve our problems. They host our annual night out against crime--Groove in the Grove. We're here, they're here.
