Are we risking yet another financial crisis? It's actually quite probable, says Icelandic politician and entrepreneur Frosti Sigurjónsson - and explains that we can prevent future financial crises by taking the power to create money away from the banks.
Since the financial crisis in 2008, industrialised countries have enacted numerous reforms to get the global economy up and running again. These have not not had the desired effect though, and economic growth is already on the decline again. This comes as no surprise to Icelandic politician and entrepreneur Frosti Sigurjónsson, who claims we haven’t yet addressed the root of the problem: our monetary system.

These beautiful pictures of playing squirrels show how similar squirrels can be to human beings.

Water sport enthusiasts take note: The age of bulky, annoying life jackets is over. A California development team has created a wristband that immediately pulls you back to the surface if you get in trouble in the water. It works a bit like an airbag.

Today's discussion in our LinkedIn-group:
We were outraged by the NSA affair, we block our houses on google street view, and yet we strive for turning our furniture into the best tracer of our daily life…
What do you think is the personal price we will pay when living in smart homes?

What if such a hospital stay could be turned into one long superhero adventure? Where children could temporary forget illness, while also vanquishing the powers of evil? A new tablet game for young patients will soon make this possible.
A stay in hospital is usually upsetting for a child. Not only are they sick; they are also in a strange and unfamiliar environment. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if, instead of lying around in bed ill, they could fly through the halls as superheroes conquering the forces of evil? This will soon be possible: a tablet game allows kids to don a superhero persona and experience exciting adventures.
