Great little neighborhood pizza joint. Ordered the meat Jesus and iit's packed with proteins. The spicy chopped salad was crisp and delicious. And the meatballs good old fashioned marinara sauce and tender meatballs. The best part of pizzanista is you go next door and have drinks at the neighborhood bar( Tony's) while you wait for your order. We took the pie up to the loft and devoured it.

This place is off the beaten path, in an obviously burgeoning warehouse area of Downtown. People will call this place hipster...well, because of all the patrons - but this place serves a damn decent slice of pizza AND has a few options of affordable House brews... We ordered a few Lagers in cans (which I rarely do as a beer snob) and it was surprisingly very good! Crisp, clean lager that paired well with the salty, savory pizza. The pepperoni pizza we ordered had a thin, very lightly charred crust, delicious pepperoni, and a perfect ratio of cheese to sauce (which were also very flavorful). On a Saturday night, it got packed really fast and they forgot our pizza (we were sitting drinking our beers for a while) but the waitress was super sweet and they comped us each a slice of pepperoni while we waited for the whole pizza. They basically took care of us, and that was really great of them. Give this place a try, get there early, and have patience.

The Pizza's pretty good, not too greasy and baked just right. It's a mad dash to beat the line in the small place in order to be able to pick up your order, find a place to sit and make it back to work before the lunch break is over... and I work < 5mins away. Definitely like the pizza, but I have to wonder if it's worth the hassle.

Pizza Nista is one of the best places to get pizza by the slice. On Tuesdays you can get a $2 slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza until closing. The variety of slices available change daily. Pepperoni, cheese and margarita are always available along with other specialty slices. On one occasion, I had the blue potato and bacon slice. It was very hearty...reminded me of a nice bowl of potato soup.

Cool spot, bro. The atmosphere definitely reminds me of North of Brooklyn back home in Toronto, or Roberta's in Bushwick. Service is trendy. Wait times for slices are about 5 minutes. My only true concern here is the $4 price point for cardboard with a piece of basil on it. Maybe there is a universal issue facing the Los Angeles Pizza market? Other yelpers seem to think this is god's gift to the Angel City. I wonder: Has there ever been good pizza in Los Angeles? As a non-native of the area, I might have given more stars if I knew the local landscape better. Nevertheless, the reality is that this is mediocre, expensive pizza.

The pizza is zeee bomb! Mac n' Cheese on Sundays are worth the calories. Sometimes they surprise you with a whacky new combo - carne asada pizza [[amazing!]]. The regular are always good too - pepperoni or cheese. The salads are always fresh and filling. They even offer a vegan pizza that tastes pretty darn close to a regular pizza if you want to try a healthy alternative. If you're on a budget they even have "day old" pizza for a buck! Can't beat that. The owner of this establishment is a Skater so the ambiance is pretty dope. They have some cool t-shirts for sale, the music is more on the alternative/classic rock side. It's all wood/brick, indoor/outdoor seating. Oh, and they have local beer in the fridge! The bar next door[Tony's Saloon] even offers a few slices of their pizza if you want to play pool, darts, ping pong and sit in a swankier environment.
