The Firefox, Gimp, Gedit are just an icons at the moment, when pressed and hold it shows open the application but nothing happens.

The pocket desktop channel images need an additional package installed to make X11 apps work. You'll have to bribe +Stephen M. Webb for them.Jan 20, 2016

These are just icons since october last year. Normal x11 apps can already run on touch. So far I've tried libreoffice, gimp, gedit, dillo, chromium and smplayerJan 21, 2016- +Rain Liu how did you do it? Chroot?
If they are just an icons, why there is a log=

Desktop files are in /usr/share/applications/
The executable is not set correctly, e.g. the firefox desktop file says:
[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Name=Firefox
Exec=/bin/true
We would need the correct command instead of /bin/true ....Jan 23, 2016
