Contemporary hotel with an upscale Southern restaurant, plus a spa & a seasonal outdoor pool.- Google
"Great room, great TV experience, great bourbon bar in the lobby."
"For a 5 star hotel this is completely unacceptable."

Great customer service. The place looks a bit dated, but everything worked. Updated coffee units in the room would be fitting for a place like this. Great atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing!

Good, friendly service as expected. Unfortunately internet dropped every half hour and was problematic for work.

I attended a conference here this week. The facilities are very nice. The rooms are very comfortable and up to date. The hotel is in a very nice part of ATL, about half a mile from a very nice mall, and there are great restaurants near as well.

The room was spacious and offered great views on the trees. Breakfast was a buffet that also offered healthy choices like a wide variety in fruit. This hotel offered everything I look for in a hotel: a place to sit outside (to enjoy the sunshine, we have to miss most of the year in the Netherlands) and a bath robe, which feels so relaxing to put on after a shower. We weren't able to enjoy the pool, because on hot July day it was so crowded, all the beds and chairs were taken. Fortunately there was another place downstairs with comfortable benches where we could hang out.

Way overpriced for what it was. Bed was not made with a fitted sheet, so it kept bunching up and was so uncomfortable. Pillows caused me to wake up with neck pain. Roses spread out in the room were white instead of red. Just not as romantic. Food was bland. Got charged for three items in the mini bar just from sticking my own drink in the fridge. Shower and tub were very small. We stayed here for our anniversary and it was just very disappointing. Did not care for the chocolate covered strawberries. What was the point in having wine delivered to the room if they give out free drink cards for their bar? Staff was nice, but that was the only positive.

Beautiful hotel. The room was perfect with an amazing view from my floor (14th) definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay here my next trip to Buckhead.

Quite Simply the Best in Buckhead Stop shopping and book the Intercontinental in Buckhead. You won't regret it. If you can afford a club level room, it's worth every penny. My wife and I spent the week at the Intercontinental meeting with our architect (William T Baker--an extremely talented individual; if you're building a home, check him out). The Intercontinental is perfect because: > Location is unbeatable. You can walk to the mall down Peachtree or go the other way and be at the Streets of Buckhead (very upscale shops) in minutes. If you don't want to walk back, the hotel has a complimentary car service that will pick you up (in an inordinately large black navigator) and bring you back to the hotel; it will actually take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel. > The staff, especially on the club level is amazing; they go above and beyond. > The food is outstanding; in the club and at the restaurants downstairs. > Price is slightly less than the Ritz or St. Regis and the hotel is easily as nice. NOTE: you can't come to breakfast in the club in pajamas. That's the only downside I saw to the whole place! Traveler tip: We took a cab from the airport. However, we were leaving Friday around rush hour and opted to take the Marta (Atlanta's subway/underground) back to the airport. The Marta station is 100 yards from the hotel; it's $2.50 per person to get to the airport and the Marta has a station right in the airport. Pretty painless and you don't have to worry about traffic causing you to miss your flight. Bonus tip: Hang on to your Marta/Breeze card--you scan it to get on AND you scan it to get off the Marta.

Everything was great besides the air conditioning unit. It was way too cold. The parking garage is way too dark.
