Happy 104th Founders Day to my Sigma Alpha Mu #Fraternity Brothers! I was able to visit the home of our founding and took this picture that looks very similar to the sketch in the Purple Book during my travels in 2005.

At City College, in Lincoln Corridor, around this bench they stood, And with a pledge upon their lips formed a brotherhood. Eight young men of steadfast faith determined to decree a ritual symbolic of their Fraternity. Like a sturdy oak of mellow gold, this relic casts its hue upon the Founding Fathers of Sigma Alpha Mu.

Happy Founders Day to the NIC!

On this day in 1909, 26 fraternities gathered to discuss the fraternal movement and formed the North-American Interfraternity Conference.

The NIC's work is based on our fervent belief that – when the fraternity system is at its best – there is no better experience to aid in and promote the development of men in becoming committed, ethical leaders; who in turn have a positive influence on the communities in which they live, work, and grow.

Story
Tagline
Helping organizations tell their stories after a decade in the trenches for nonprofits/associations.
Introduction
I moved to Indianapolis from Minneapolis after graduating from the University of Minnesota (yes, I like -apolises). Since then I've traveled North-America working with thousands of volunteers on fundraising, communications and events.

After ten years of working for a membership organization, charitable foundation, and trade association - I made the leap to a marketing agency that has great expertise with these groups; in addition to healthcare and small/privately-held businesses.

I'm a huge fan of my adopted "hometown" of Indianapolis. I'd love to give you a recommendation for things to do, see or eat if you are in the neighborhood!

I'm more or less an open book. Just ask!

The shrimp cocktail is more than hype. It reigns supreme. Navy bean soup surprises before devouring cowboy cut medium rare steak.
