I ordered the steak tartare and while it’s not the best representative of this eatery because the majority of the offerings are sandwiches, but I couldn’t resist one of my favorite dishes. You get 6 ounces of hand chopped Harlow Cattle Company steak with finely chopped onions, pickles, and capers accompanied with pickled onions, cornichons, and toasted baguette slices. The quality of everything was exceptional, but it distresses me to see how Americans serve steak tartare – with a shit ton of capers to hide the fact that you’re eating grass fed beef! If you’ve never had steak tartare, I think this is a great introduction, but with the extraneous fluff, it just wasn’t for me.

Seattle may be vegan heaven, but this meat shop doesn't let that stop them. The sandwiches are amazing and feature some amazing charcuterie creations. The pork belly is delicious and the sourdough bread is amazing. Grab a cheap Rainier tall boy to wash it down before a Sounders game. A little slow when events are going on, but worth the wait.

Are you looking for a great French Dip, look no more. This was simply the best one I've ever had. Starting with the bread, it held up to the meat and au jus. The meat was a shredded beef that had a light delicious crust, with caramelized onions, white cheddar and a light horseradish sauce. My mouth waters just talking about it. Must try

The Dipper is superb. Go get one and thank me later. Growing up I had an uncle who owned a very high end deli, so I'm very selective when it comes to corned beef. I must say that Rain Shadows Corned Beef & Rye is the best I've had in Washington.
