Vegetables - The Body Lookalikes

Nature gives us obvious clues when it comes to identifying what body part benefits from what food. The human body is the universe in miniature!

And it just so happens that many natural whole foods closely resemble the organs and body parts they’re good for!
A walnut looks like a miniature human brain and is excellent food for our thinking-machine. Walnuts are a good source of proteins and omega-3 fatty acid - they contain more antioxidants, folic acid (vitamin B9) and vitamin E than any other nut. They nourish the entire nervous system and are therefore vital helpers when it comes to warding off dementia. It is important to properly soak and rinse walnuts (like most other nuts) to remove phytates and to activate enzymes for an optimal nutrient absorption.
