Agree with your first myth - more is not always better. Another controversial myth I don't believe in is to focus on engagement. Engagement alone without any understanding on what you want to achieve can be a trap.

Nicely put, Lee. At first, I was feeling that it's all relatively obvious, but that's probably exactly the point - the guys who are used to high editorial values in their content just accept that the world works that way, whilst the wannabes worry about content volume and frequency (and think that it's all terribly new and exciting - mild cynicism from me!).
