Hi there and welcome to my part of the world! I live in sunny South Africa and my name is Monica. I am also known as Ansota which is my 'artist name'.  I am a self taught artist and on my blogs  you will find everything I am passionate about. Ansota's Art Journal is a blog about my art and my creative journey. I focus a lot on my art journals and use different art mediums which changes with my moods. I explore and experiment all the time. From sketching, drawing, watercolors, gouache, acrylics, oil painting, pastels, ink as well as digital scrapbooking and fabric arts and mixed media are the things I keep busy with. I am also a soul collager and journal with my soul collage cards as much as I can. I  keep a personal daily journal which I fill with writings, drawings, poems,lists and all kinds of notes and pictures. My other great love is crochet and on Krowshay D'zine you will find all the projects I am busy with as well as all kinds of crochet thingies that I find interesting. I love designing my own crochet patterns and have a website dedicated to my patterns named www.crochetdesign.co.za.
