Reading the book, Fool's Talk: Recovering the Art of Christian Persuasion. One point in particular stood out to me today: That the gospel and specifically, the resurrection aspect is comedy, not tragedy. In the literary world, the term comedy has to do with a happy ending. Indeed, the resurrection provided the perfect happy ending to the tragic human story. He likened it to a child's jack-in-the-box. Down it goes, then up the clown pops. Jesus Christ conquered the seemingly tragic events of the passion week and crucifixion and rose again! As he says, somewhat of a humorous God-slant. I think of it as "you can't keep a good man down!" http://ow.ly/QcJR1
