Anyone want to rent a 4 bed house in Weybridge? Google+ friend discounts apply, and will also pay referral fees. Seriously.

Hitchens & Fry vs. the Catholic Church. If this had been a boxing match, they would have stopped the fight after round 1.

Well, when you believe you are doing the work of the Almighty, I guess you have a pretty healthy ego.
What surprised me most here was the swing. Not just the undecided, but the Fors switching over en masse.

Ooh, I wanted to +1 someone's tweet. Interesting, it's seeping into my psyche. Maybe it'll be Twitter that suffers, not FB.

I feel like G+'s tipping point is coming into view.

Just saw an article saying they're about to/have hit 10 million users. As I've only just got here (thanks Tim), despite seeing a bunch of welcome and familiar faces, it still feels like very early days yet (fb's on what? 750 million now?). It'll be interesting to see how the uptake rates compare when Google opens + up to anyone.

There's something nice about being on a social network with only a few people. It's like when you get to a party early. It's not busy and manic yet, and the people that are at the party are all cool and chilled out, and you can have a conversation.

Genuine, but low quality, Avengers trailer. Tweeted by Joss Whedon himself!
Can I have my +1 now, please, Matt.

What does it say about me that when you say 'The Avengers', I think 1960s British tv series, and not the completely un-related 1960s Marvel comics? Spent the first few seconds of the trailer wondering what the f was going on.

You know what's nice about G+ right now? It's not a marketing vehicle or a gamespam platform. I know it won't last forever, but this is nice. Reminds me why I joined a social network in the first place.

Those gmail ads went away in the redesign.

Your data is worth more to google and it search accuracy than spamming streams with social game ads.

Walked in for some quick last minute presents for my dad and brother. Great store full of nice gift ideas for guys, and Nico was very helpful. Will definitely be back.

If you're familiar with Japanese food, this place will disappoint you. All the fried food is very greasy and topped off with unnecessary garnishes (chopped red pepper on top of gyoza for some reason). The sushi was passable, but nothing more. There aren't that many alternatives in Deep Cove, but I would always go to Arms Reach over this place.
