What does it say about me that when you say 'The Avengers', I think 1960s British tv series, and not the completely un-related 1960s Marvel comics? Spent the first few seconds of the trailer wondering what the f was going on.
You know what's nice about G+ right now? It's not a marketing vehicle or a gamespam platform. I know it won't last forever, but this is nice. Reminds me why I joined a social network in the first place.
There's something nice about being on a social network with only a few people. It's like when you get to a party early. It's not busy and manic yet, and the people that are at the party are all cool and chilled out, and you can have a conversation.
Well, when you believe you are doing the work of the Almighty, I guess you have a pretty healthy ego. What surprised me most here was the swing. Not just the undecided, but the Fors switching over en masse.
Just saw an article saying they're about to/have hit 10 million users. As I've only just got here (thanks Tim), despite seeing a bunch of welcome and familiar faces, it still feels like very early days yet (fb's on what? 750 million now?). It'll be interesting to see how the uptake rates compare when Google opens + up to anyone.
Not sure how they're still in business. Service is so slow. And it's been like this for years. If you come during quiet times, it might be ok, but prepare to be forgotten about and the food (even kids' meals) arrive at a snail's pace during times when they are more than 20% capacity.
