Celebrating the release of The Coalition Episode 1. FREE for a limited time.
(From YA author Aria J. Wolfe. Dystopian novels with a message of hope)

"It’s just a pretty pendant. A harmless necklace. Everyone wears them, like a talisman.

At least that’s what sixteen year old Shai Eli has always believed. But why does her community enforce a law that keeps people from removing the necklaces?

When a book, a key, and a vision begin to unravel the sinister secret behind the necklaces, Shai discovers the guy she’s falling for may not be who he says he is."

Is it 'fair' to a reader to keep them from knowing an important detail which the POV character knows?

I'm writing in 3rd person limited. And the reason I didn't divulge the detail the moment the POV character knew it is because it seemed irrelevant to the POV character. He later muses about the info, then has a conversation about it which eventually reveals it to the reader.

Will this 'frustrate' a reader or is it a successful tactic to keep up suspense?

How can you keep on top of your household clutter?

BEFORE you make a trip up the stairs- stop, look around and grab a pile of stuff that belongs upstairs. Put it away immediately. That way you will keep on top of your clutter, learn the art of Multi-tasking, and you won't be overwhelmed by "stuff" at the end of the day.

This is one of my 'secrets' to keeping a cleaner house. Ok- it's not a secret. But I hope it helps!
