We rented an apartment here in 2014 while our house was being built, and it was a terrible experience. When we moved in, the apartment reeked of paint because they painted the whole apartment with Killz. A couple of weeks later, when the paint smell faded, we realized they were trying to cover cigarettes (which didn't really work). We still smell them in certain spots where the air circulation isn't good. The apartment also was not clean, and the cleaners had to come back and redo it. They still did a lousy job, leaving disgusting toilets and light mildew in the shower. The carpets are worn, and after the paint smell faded it smelled very strongly of dog. As cat owners, this smell is unpleasant to us. It took lots of baking soda to make that smell fade. We didn't complain because we didn't want to deal with carpet cleaning or chemicals that we would be forced to breathe. I would guess that at least half of the tenants have dogs, and there are a lot of black labs that push the weight limit--including one upstairs from us. An 80 lb. dog really doesn't belong in an apartment, and this one sounds like it is going to come through the ceiling when it starts playing (which is often, starting at 6 am). I would NOT choose to live here long term; however, this is currently one of the few apartment complexes in Loveland that offers leases for less than a year. I did give it two stars because the management staff is very friendly, but would give the quality zero stars if I could.

Beautiful area with great apartments. Pool and hot tub should be cleaned more frequently since they're open year-round. Staff is always helpful and attentative. Well kept weather snow or grass. Definitely recommended

This apartment complex is absolutely disgusting! We were all set to move in and when we got there after driving 900 miles from Az, the apartment carpet was yellow with pet urine and the smell was so bad we could feel it in our lungs. First of all I can't believe they would think this was acceptable to allow someone to move in. Second they offered to replace it, but not until the next day. They also refused to help us with the costs of a hotel since we would have had to stay somewhere else before we could unpack the moving truck the next morning. Finally, they decided that it was best for us not to move in and refunded us our whole deposit. Needless to say we are living at Lake Vista and it is 1000% times better!!!!! Crystal even had the audacity to come into the apartment and say that we were making a bigger deal than it was and that she didn't think it was that bad.

This was my first residence in Colorado. It was amazing!! I only lived there for a year. I had the perfect sun set!! The staff was very professional and handled my apartment well. I was in building 9 facing west towards the mountains. All the residence were cool. No loud noises or crazy things going on. I would live there again if I was to move to Loveland!!

If I could rate this apartment a 0 I would. This place is rude and disorganized. They send maintenance, pest control, and whomever else into your apartment without your consent. It has happened to me numerous times (more than three.) I'll just be sitting at home minding my own business and all of a sudden someone walks in my door!!! One day I was getting out of the shower when it happened! I thought there was someone breaking into my house! I almost called the police until management informed me it was pest control! When I told them I thought it was someone breaking in and I was scared half to death you know what they did?? Laughed at me! No joke. She started laughing. I said "so you think this is funny? me thinking someone is breaking in is funny to you?" .... silence... These apartments are falling apart. the dryers take 3 hours to get a single load dry. they are not insulated at all. my heat bill averages at $110 in the winter and the bedrooms are still FREEZING. The pool isnt heated. The hot tub is down 75% of the time. When it's not down it's usually just mild in temp. If you live in one of the apartments down the center, good luck finding a parking spot when you get home from work. The outside apartments have tons of parking though... so if you absolutely have to move here I suggest getting into one of those. Anyways renter beware. If you move here, you are sure to regret it. I know I do.

We have been at Peakview for nearly a year now and absolutely love it! We have had a few problems with the office not billing us correctly but each time it was fixed promptly. The staff is very good at responding to requests quickly and threy always call a few days later to make sure that everything is working okay. The apartments are comfortable, sunny, and quiet something we have never managed at any of the many other apartment complexes we have lived in. I will definitely be re-signing my lease when it is time!
