Pandavulagutta rock art site - Ancient Rock Art Caves
Rock art is a form of landscape art, which includes designs that are created on cave walls and ceilings, as well as ground surface. Warangal region is home to many Prehistoric habitation sites. Rock paintings of Mesolithic era were discovered in the hillocks, locally called as Pandavula Gutta, near Regonda mandal headquarters, about 55 km from Warangal. Various animals and impressions are depicted in red ochre (Mesolithic Period) at this Rock Shelter.

Mukkanteswaralayam - The Glory of Kakatiya Architecture!
Kusumanchi, a sub division of Khammam district in Telangana is located between Khammam and Suryapet towns. It is home to a renowned Mukkanteswaralayam temple, built by the Kakatiya rulers during 12th and 13th centuries. Mukkanteswaralayam is a triple shrine, and each of these shrines has a garbhagriha and antarala with a common 16-pillared mandapa. The historic temple is quite popular for its ancient architecture and is considered the pride of Kakatiya legacy!

Restoration Works of Inavolu Mallikarjuna Swamy temple
Sri Mallikarjuna swamy temple is located to the south of Inavolu
village, about 20 km from Warangal. It is a protected monument of the Department of Archaeology & Museums. The Department of Archaeology & Museums has erected Keerthi Thoranas on the northern side as part of the restoration efforts undertaken, to preserve the glory of the historic shrine.

Khilashapur Fort - Conservation Works of Khilashapurr Fort
Located in Khilashapur village, about 5 km from Raghunathpalli Railway station, it is a legendary fort associated with Sardar Papa Rayudu of 18th Century who had defied Mughal imperial authority. The fort is constructed on a square plan with massive bastions at four corners of the fortifications. Telangana Archaeology has undertaken conservation works here, which is one of the iconic fort structures in Telangana.

Sri Rajarajeswara Temple - Kakatiya Legacy of Kamareddy!
There is a historic Kakatiya temple with its garbhagriha and antarala connected to mukha mandapa facing east in Bandarameswarapalli village of Machireddy mandal in Kamareddy district. This temple, also known popularly as the Rajarajeswaraswamy temple, is of unique style and elevation. An inscription on mukhamandapa pillar of this temple records the date as 1254 A.D.

An Impetus for Conservation of Qutub Shahi Tombs
The Qutub Shahi Tombs located in Shaikpet is the final resting place of the rulers of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty. It is one of the largest mausoleum complexes in the world, with spectacular architecture. The Department of Archaeology and Museums entered into an agreement with Aga Khan Foundation and Aga Khan Trust for Culture for conservation and restoration of these structures at an estimated cost of about 100 Crores for five years with effect from 9th Jan 2013. Recently a new MoU was executed with effect from 9th Jan 2018 to 8th Jan 2023 for further conservation works.

Old Mosque,Komatoor village - Komatoor’s Prominence in Qutub Shahi-era
Komatoor village, located close to Medak Town is home to a historically significant Qutub Shahi Mosque. This mosque, located in a picturesque environment, features a single hall with three arched openings, which are flanked with two minarets. This structure has a built up chajja with ashlar masonry and prominent arches.
