My first nexus 7 2012 screen cracked 2 weeks after I got it. I got another that lasted 2 years. Now it's cracked. Are newer ones any more robust?

The new ASUS 7" tablet has gorilla glass 3, but it is not a nexus device since Google changed to Motorola

yes -- I can't argue that point..   But,  the process of figuring out how goroutines could be applied was worth it for me...

Finally?

There's no update at all for the 2nd Gen Nexus 7 LTE .... no factory image either.

Count yourself lucky.

I'm Going thru the tour.golang.org again, and looking at solutions by others for the web crawler..  For determining if a url has been seen before, most are using a map with a mutex or something similar.  I thought there ought to be a better way.   Wouldn't this be a good approach?

Thanks, Matthew.. Good points.  My first version was not very clear in isolating the map and channels..  Perhaps this makes my intent more clear?  As long as the only access to the map is thru the goroutine, concurrent access isn't possible..

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but I'm glad I stopped in. Had black coffee (excellent) and a sausage panini (very good). Friendly and attentive staff and WIFI with WPA. Plus, the owner's a Linux fan.

paper cups for iced tea? c'mon.. you could spring for plastic, couldn't you? crowded patio seating -- bumping against the person behind you even though the patio is only half full. Burgers and fries are decent enough, but is it worth the aggravation?

Nice variety. Drinks a bit pricey, but good. More steak than seafood selections. Desserts and coffee were also quite good. Pace is unhurried -- seated at 7:30, left at 10 on a weekday nite.

Waiter was young and inexperienced. I'd skip any cocktails and go straight for the wine (my Manhatten was unchilled). The appetizers and entrees were good enough for a busy tourist destination. Just don't expect too much..

good variety of pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads. inexpensive overall. Not a great wine menu, excellent beer menu. Good family place. The place is pretty small, so seating is limited. Call ahead.
