NEW POST: A woman just came into my office to ask me how she could suggest to her sister (who she says is her best friend) that her nonverbal 3-year old nephews with sensory issues might be autistic. I shared my story. If you suspect your child might be autistic, please understand that #autism is not a death sentence to the dreams you have for your child.
