This is the worst place ever!! I called and ask if they do gel nails, the man said yes. So I made an appointment to get a fill. It took him two and a half hours. He didn't even use gel, he used gel nail polish. I told him to keep the shape I had. He shaved them down, so I no longer had the shape I wanted. I had bumps all over my nails. He still made me pay 30.00. When I called he told me 25.00. Very very horrible nails. They chipped the first day. I had to go get them re done some where else. Never go there, unless you don't know what horrible nails look like. Worst place ever. They should be shut down.Know one should walk around with that bad of nails.!

Had a completely awful, surreal experience at the Nailport Salon - the kind of thing you "only see on reality TV" but truly don't believe happens in real life!! I brought my 2 year old girl along with me to get a pre-paid mani-pedi from my sister - for my 40th b-day. I thought it would be fun to have my little girl along with me for girl's time. There was a bit of a wait at the salon so I let my little girl pick polish and I painted her nails while we waited. The crazy part is that the owner considered it STEALING! WHAT?? I was charged an additional MANICURE for the 2 cents of polish I put on my daughters nails and we were thrown out - yes, THROWN OUT - before I got the mani-pedi! It was a truly AWFUL, HORRIBLE experience! There is a complete failure of customer service that the Nailport Salon. I would do my best to AVOID going there!!! (As a side note we were able to walk in to another salon where I got a mani-pedi and where my little girl got her toenails painted - for free - without any insanity from the staff. Now, THAT's what I call EXCELLENT customer service!!)

We are saddened to read this false post. We are currently working to have this slanderous review removed. The Sandy City Police crime case number from this incident of theft of services and trespassing is 13E004110 where charges were not pursued by The NailPort in agreement of the stolen services payment. I purchased two groupons for the Nail Port. I wish I had read all the reviews prior to buying. Ladies - this is the worst salon you could go to. They never answer their phones, try to cancel your appointments that you alread booked....the list goes on. My daughter and I both had a pedicure and it was like my 12 year old granddaughter giving it to me. The massaged my legs for maybe a minute and the polish job was smeared. My daughter didn't get a massage at all. This experience was to be worth $110. I go to a salon @ South Towne mall, that gives an awesome service. I will go there instead - I will probably foreit my other groupon or have my granddaughter and a friend go instead. Please do not stop at this shop - they are rude, and shouldn't even be in business.

HORRIBLE! I have never received such horrible customer service or such a poor manicure. I had gone in to get a full set done. I was later convinced to only get a fill. I requested to have the acrylic and shellac go right up to the cuticle due to my nails growing at a very rapid rate. I toward the end I indicated that there was too much of a space between the acrylic and the cuticle. I was informed that they HAVE to leave a space. I am aware of what space should be there but this was too far. That isn't even the biggest thing wrong with the nails!!!! They were SO SO SLOPPY!!! I have seen trainees do a better job. There were bits of my natural nail hanging underneath, the sides were jagged and half of the sides unpainted, the thumb nail was totally misshapen. It was so thick then dropped down to extremely thin toward the end of the nail in such a drastic way, several nails were totally misshapen. I was astounded that anyone would allow this type of work to leave their business. I told them that the gap was still too much and they painted shellac partially on my normal nail above the acrylic. By that point they had all cleaned up and were basically waiting for me to be done. So I called it a day and left in no way happy. Once out in proper lighting I noticed the aforementioned issues and was absolutely disgusted. The next day I called in requesting a refund because I clearly did not get the service provided that was requested. I was informed that after I left that they had talked about me and they had made a decision then to not refund me. That they could tell by my attitude that I would be back. (or they knew they were providing an inferior service) They said that they would fix the issues. I let them know I wasn't comfortable with him touching my nails again because they were so messed up. Another stylist ended up working on my nails to correct the issue. The entire time it was so awkward and unfortunately the nails are still not amazing. MUCH better than before but still not great. I am SO disappointed with the customer service and the quality of service. The entire situation was handled so poorly by people who are supposed to be professionals. Save your time an money and go somewhere else.

DO NOT BUY THERE GROUPON!!! Orignally I was very excited to get this great deal 2 mani pedi for only 30.00. I called and spoke with someone right away, I ask him when is the soonest appointment I could get in, I was told 600pm on Monday. Once I said that I was using a groupon, he then asked" Can I call you right back"? I then said of course and gave him my phone number. No one ever called me back. Monday, I tried calling again, No one answered. I kept trying to call, for 2 weeks straight, I even left a voice message, NO ONE ever called me back. I'm not sure how they treat their customers that aren't using groupon, but once I told them it was for a groupon, they didn't want to help me. This place is very unprofessional and I will never recommend this place to anyone, no matter how good the deal is.

I love going to NailPort! Paul is wonderful and does and excellent job. My pedicures always last and he gets my nails filed perfectly straight! LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Impossible to get a hold of to make an appointment. I have been calling several times a day for the past week and have left two voicemails requesting an appointment and have not been contacted or able to get through to a person. They hate Groupon customers. NEVER DO A GROUPON WITH THEM.
