Our Wills, Trusts and Probate team was delighted to make a cheque presentation to St Luke's Hospice Plymouth last month.

The solicitors donated their time as part of the annual St Luke's Make a Will Week, writing wills in exchange for a donation to the charity. We would like to say a huge thank you to our generous clients who gifted a total of £3,495 to this very important cause!

In addition to cash donations, a number of people also made individual legacies and bequests in their wills, totalling more than £100k, which will benefit St Luke's in the future.

Leaving a gift in your will is a great way to help St Luke’s make a difference in our local community, not only now but in the future. Leaving this gift has no financial impact during the donor's life, but will help to care for patients after their death.

Nearly 25% of St Luke's income comes from gifts left in wills, meaning that the care of every 1 in 4 patients is possible due to a legacy donation.
