I've lived in several countries (US, Singapore, Mexico, France, Germany, UK, and Canada - to name a few) and every time I want to open a bank account, it's a nightmare trying to prove my identity to these institutions. I can only imagine how it would be to live in a developing nation trying to access financial services without a birth certificate or credit history. #unbanked
