Question for GMs: Roughly how much XP do your players gain per session, after all the rerolls and other usages of XP in-game come up?

And roughly how many intrusions do you give per player, per session?

(I ask because my players, who reroll almost every failure of any kind, were basically netting 1-3 XP per session, which seemed to be slow in terms of getting to the next tier.  I upped the intrusions, which are fun anyway, but their habit of rerolling everything sapped that, which led to us having a discussion about XP-manipulating strategy.  And I was wondering how quickly most other groups were levelling up.)

For the record, I give 2 XP for showing up, and 1XP for significant discoveries, but I also run action-heavy games.

I’m going to tell you how to get cheap e-books, influence the future of science fiction for the better, and read some of the best science fiction writing of the calendar year. It will only cost you fifty bucks – and might be free, with a little effort, thanks to this contest I'm holding. Listen, for I am about to reveal one of the most hidden bargains in all of science fiction.

"My concern is that you will come to the conclusion that stabbing me in the heart is a bad thing. It isn't. My heart's this big, swelly thing that slops all over the place kind of like this golden retriever that's constantly underfoot, and if all you're going to do is pet the dog every time you trip over the fucking thing then you're going to wind up hating the dog. No, sometimes the dog isn't going to get petted that day, and the dog will whine a little bit, and be fine." - Me, on me

Here's the deal: the Stop Online Piracy Act is basically the government saying, "We can block whatever fucking websites we feel like, at all." It's what China does. It's what Iran does. The government doesn't have the power to shut down the press.... But since the Internet is the new press, this is basically saying, "We can stop your access legally at any time." This is bad.

So this website makes it trivially easy to call your Congressman. You enter your phone and address into the site, they call you, connect you to the proper place. It takes literally one minute. Do it now. Today. Please.

I'm not saying this new dark chocolate peanut butter is like angels came in my mouth. But if these peanut butter angels did cum in my mouth, I'd go angel-gay in a heartbeat.

I’ve been playing Skyrim for a while, as has the known universe, and along the way you pick up quests like stray dogs pick up ticks. You can’t avoid getting a quest. Talk to a stranger and they’ll hand you tasks by the armful, leaving Skyrim so helpless you wonder how they get anything done without relying on mute foreigners to do their work for them....
