"I looked in the mirror and couldn't see anything staring back at me. I was completely numbed out and saw no hope, no life." If you have a loved one who feels like Melissa because of a drug and alcohol addiction, please show them this video.

"I am 85 years old and I want to tell you about my most memorable Christmas. I was one of six children. My father had lost his job and there was no money or food for Christmas...

Somehow you found out about our problems...You arrived with a large roast beef and all the trimmings. Each of us kids got a large orange. Mother made rolls. It is the only Christmas I remember as a child. Just wanted you to know your act of kindness has lasted me a lifetime."
