Great cliff view and enjoyable performance of kecak dance in the evening. Should combine trip to uluwatu with padang padang beach in the afternoon and possibly jimbaran beach for dinner

Not a terribly exciting place to visit (10am) A few monkeys that steal things from you, a temple you cannot access (unless your local or a priest) but some good views over the cliff and sea. There is a fire dance every day at 17h00 - we avoided to miss the crowds..

Best place to enjoy sunset in Bali. Entrance ticket price is relatively cheap, except for Kecak Dance show inside. You will find plenty of monkeys living freely inside. Will definitely go there again in advance.

Balinese people swear this is the place to be if you want to see the best sunset view. We were unlucky enough as it was cloudy and then it started raining. It's a beautiful temple and the kecak dance performance was special. Make sure to come on time for the ticket and put on some sun block, people! I had never been so tanned in my life.

i can say that the sunset view is one of the best in Southeast Asia, better than in Tenah Lot, Bali. You can rent a motorbike to there, 1 hour from Kuta to Uluwatu.
