It gets worse. Photo credits for Getty's freely embeddable images are easily cropped out with a simple change to the embed code.

Note to 5-years ago self: The iPhone is cool and all, but just buy some Apple stock instead. Trust me.

So, how does the new Fuji X-Pro1 stack up as a serious tool for photography? Here's my answer and a detailed review.

Great review +Todd Owyoung. I've been reviewing an X100 for the past couple of weeks as I look for a compact camera for my days off. Although I love the styling, viewfinder, and image quality, I don't think the Fuji X100 (or X-Pro 1) is for me.

They both cost a lot, the AF is slow and inaccurate against running toddlers, and the MFD of the X100 is fairly limiting to me. Sure, the camera can be thrown into macro mode, but then the camera switches over to the EVF which is laggy and makes me dizzy.

I'm still figuring out what compact will make me the happiest on my days off. I'm starting to think that being a full time photographer has set my standards too high for a compact camera. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Amazon's deal of the day is a Kindle Fire for $140. Refurbished, but dang, pretty cheap!

Good to see you posting more here, man... I just re-joined Flickr to rescue some photos, and it seems all of my old boards are dead.

Got a sec? Sorry for the shameless plug, but you can vote for me as the "Best Music Photographer" in St. Louis.

It just takes 3 clicks.

How about people with semi-professional gear that are trying to document the local music scene to try to keep it alive and vibrant? I swear I am not using an Iphone (I don't even have one :) )

In case you missed it last week, +B and H is having another 1-day flash sale on SanDisk cards. 30-45% off, pretty good deals.
