Oh my god this place was amazing. I had trouble figuring out what to get because everything sounded delicious. I love southern/cajun/creole food and is very hard to get in this part off the world. I ended up getting the 14 ounce rib eye with bourbon glaze and a potato corn medley below. Everything was cooked perfectly and I had one of the best meal experiences ever. I also got some hush puppies and the regular bread with herb butter. Both were great too. I also would be remiss to not mention the picturesque setting of this place. It's literally on the edge of an overlook in the woods and surrounded by Beautiful trees and the view of everything is super serene. If the weather was better then the patio would be the place to be. I would say that the staff is a bit slow though. I kind of had to prod to check on my food and for other things I needed. They even came with all my food with a look like "oh looks like your food was ready, wow!" However I will forgive that because everything else was so perfect that it overshadows that particular negative. Definitely a very upscale nice place in the heart of Sherwood. I will happily come back anytime and I hope this place remains a staple of the neighborhood.

Nice area and decor. The food was nothing rememberable though. Could have been an off night as they seemed busy and understaffed.

I want to like this place but have been a few times and am always disappointed! There are always several problems with the food & service.

My husband and I had a good experience at this restaurant in 2014, so I took my parents there for lunch today. Although there were only four people occupying one table when we arrived, we had to wait several minutes to get a table. There was food on my chair that I had to brush off before sitting down. The server gave us menus and did not come back to take our orders for nearly ten minutes and never asked if we needed something other than water to drink. I asked for a coffee and he subsequently brought out two cups and gave them to my parents. He forgot to bring me sugar, which I had to ask for, and my mother asked for a straw three times before another server finally brought her one. It took thirty minutes to get the food and only two other people arrived for lunch after us (and had a different server), so the restaurant was by no means crowded. Our server was not overtly rude (at least not until just before we left), but was very short with us and not professional or friendly. He was extremely slow to respond to requests and was inattentive, such as never offering a refill on my coffee. The ladies' bathroom had a stall with no toilet seat covers or toilet paper and was in general not very clean for a restaurant that had just opened. When my mother asked if the manager was available, our server identified himself as the manager. When told the ladies' room needed some attention, he responded, "Perfect" in a sarcastic tone and said he hadn't been in the ladies bathroom yet that day. This was by far the worst service I have experienced in a restaurant in a great while and I was embarrassed to have taken my parents from out-of-town to this eatery. I empathize with overworked servers who are stressed, but this man had only two tables to serve and had no cause to be so neglectful of his customers (and he clearly lacks management skills). The food was okay and the portions were big, but I will not be returning to Tree's or recommending this place to friends.

Hello Kimberly, I am so sorry to hear about your negative experience at our restaurant. It looks like we were having an off day and for that I am very sorry. I would love to invite you into the restaurant and have dinner or lunch for you and your husband on us. If you are interested please email me at treesrestaurant@gmail.com so we can work out the details. Thank you, Chef Shannon

Went for dinner on a Saturday with my family of 4. My family really enjoyed the bbq shrimp appetizer. I didn't have any but it looked and smelled great. Three of us had dinner salads before our entrees. My dad said the caesar was tasty and my mom and I really liked our house salads with blue cheese crumbles, mandarin oranges and sesame seeds tossed in a citrus vinaigrette. Will definitely be getting that salad when I come back. The dinner size is plenty before a meal. Our entrees were shrimp and grits, blackened salmon with grits, the nightly special half drunken bbq chicken with mashed potatoes and I had a big chicago style NY strip steak with roasted potatoes, collard greens and onion strings (more like mini onion rings, delicious). Everyone loved their food. I know I will definitely be coming back for that steak. If you live in Beaverton or Sherwood, this is a place to go to (comparable to Hall Street Grill and Decarli). It's clean, well priced with great service and food. Easy to relax and not feel rushed. That's important to me and I appreciate it. An idea for the chef, cut the NY strip steak in half, slice it and put it on a ciabatta roll with those onion strings and collard greens. Sounds good huh? Maybe pair it with sweet potatoes fries those a house salad. Definitely something I'd order for lunch or dinner. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing dinner. My sister was back home, she hadn't been and my mom wanted to take her. She had a tasty meal. She lives in the south now and said her shrimp and grits were comparable to a restaurant there. Good cooking chef. Be back soon.

Like other reviews, although there were little to no customers we had to wait a long time to be waited on/served. The waiter was nice, apologetic, but didn't offer an explanation and the service did not improve through the evening, lots of waiting for help to show up. Finally I had to find somebody to give us our check. That being said, the food was delicious and the staff was kind (even though they seemed preoccupied somehow?)

We finally made it to Tree's today. What a great menu, I had Salmon, it was wonderful, my Husband had his favorite Grits and Eggs. Great meal, and we signed up for the Valentine special. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because we didn't get our Coffee filled without asking,
