We don't get to witness integrity much on TV, but this is the real thing.

Wishing her the best.

I guess Lt Cmdr Quinton McHale's grandson needs to drive something.
At $670.4 million, one would think Lockheed Martin would deliver a gem. But the USS Freedom has been plagued by design flaws, failed equipment, hull cracks and engine-related failures. The U.S. Navy released an inspection report last year that stated the ship had failed 14 of 28 inspection tests, which included the fire-fighting systems, communications, […]

Parker's Barbecue
2514 U.S. 301, Wilson, NC 27893
This is a world class NC style bbq. The decor is NC style BBQ, family style, not fancy, the way it's SUPPOSED to be. Huge, the lot may looked packed but there's plenty of room inside.

The food incredible. Equal to the BEST NC pork BBQ anywhere. And the fried chicken is fried in lard/tallow... but WORTH the heart attack. Excellent corn bread, hush puppies, perfect cole slaw, and home made brunswick stew that sets the standard of delicious, and I HATE brunswick stew.

Worth a trip. DEFINITELY worth the short drive off I-95 at Wilson.

Why?

Because when the proposed solution to ANY problem is a global regulatory authority with vast power to control all aspects of life and commerce, with substantial decreases in the creation of wealth, and the forced distribution of wealth, the SOLUTION is worse than the problem.

Not to mention that some of us are scientists and engineers who actually understand that the greenhouse effect from CO2 is non-linear and the vast majority of it has already occurred with the current 400 ppm.  The dinosaur world was 8000 ppm without going Venus.

In September 2010, Mark Warner along with ALL senate Democrats voted against a bill to ensure grandfathering of policies.

He voted SPECIFICALLY to cancel the policies because his party told him to.
And he's a good boy.

American business has decided that Mexicans are the low skill labor of choice and that Asians are the high skill labor of choice.

This does not bode well for American citizens.

Contrary to others, we had a good stay, but there are some issues with housekeeping. The room 119 was HUGE, with an equally large bathroom with in-room hot tub. Everything was in good repair, clean and clean smelling. No problems at all. And the lobby has been repaired and repainted, looks fine. The desk work area is bigger than my office at home. And there is an in-room refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The bed was comfortable with a brand name mattress and 4 pillows. The indoor pool and pool room was clean, but the exhaust ventilation is poor and the smell of chlorine permeated the first floor hallway and lobby. Fortunately, the smell did not enter our room. Very convenient to the Ford Museum and easy access to downtown Detroit via either I-75 or I-94. But, if you sleep in past 9 and are at the wrong end of the hall where room cleaning starts, housekeeping will bypass your room and NOT come back... even if you see them at the other end of the hall and nicely remind them that you are leaving and your room can be cleaned. They say yes, but they mean no. And if you remind them later of their lapse, they make excuses and lie. So management needs to get this resolved. Not having your room cleaned for two days straight because you don't leave until 10am is not acceptable. Oh, and there's a Union Pacific railroad track about 25 feet from the rear of the hotel, only two trains a day though. so that's livable, even a plus if you like trains.

Excellent local and shipped seafood, nice people running it. Lowest prices in town. Also they cook anything for you... so it's a fresh seafood store seafood meal takeout place. We go there at least once a week.

If your passion is old tractors and trucks with some classic cars and farm implements thrown in for good measure, then this is the place for you. The 65,000 sq foot museum houses a FABULOUS and incredibly complete collection of American farm tractors from the 20th century, all beautifully restored to both running condition and original paint and trim. In addition, there is a very nice collection of equally perfect American early to late 20th century commercial and fire trucks, including national 1st place winning restorations such as an REO Speed Wagon with gorgeous restored chrome. The gift shop sells all things tractor and truck, a great place for gifts for children. And nostalgic ICE COLD glass bottle Nehi's and RC Colas are sold out of an the old-fashioned reach-down ice chest cooler just like the old days. Directly off I-95. Many restaurants of all types nearby.

Nice small restaurant hidden in a big box super strip mall. Excellent quality sushi/sashimi at a fair price. No skimping on the fish. All your favorites and some original rolls as well. Excellent service. The spicy eel dishes are superior. Good "crunchy" octopus, something you don't find often in Virginia restaurants.
