Congratulations +Viktor Johansson! And congratulations to everyone who submitted their photos to Google Photography Prize and shared their photos with the world.

A big congratulations to Viktor Johansson, the winner of our 2012 Google Photography Prize! Viktor's photos feature Christoffer Eskilsson, Sweden's best male diver from 10 meters, and a side of professional athleticism that we rarely see—the long, lonely, practice sessions. Viktor's photos will be featured this year at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Read more on the Official Google Blog: http://goo.gl/t69Zv

The most interesting comments will be selected by Elinor and +Aaron Schuman, and the people who submitted them will be invited to join this hangout masterclass!

To help us with these masterclasses the esteemed photographer, writer, editor, lecturer and curator +Aaron Schuman is on board to oversee and co-ordinate the program. Over the years Aaron has been a valuable contributor to a number of high profile publications, including ArtReview, Aperture, Foam, and the British Journal of Photography to name just a few. +Hernan David Munoz I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention to be disrespectful in any way. While we could only select 100 finalists, I've very much enjoyed viewing everyone's work, and seeing your creative submissions fill my stream. After a long process to confirm students' proof of enrollment, we announced the finalists this morning and you can read more about it on our blog post at http://goo.gl/Xxkpc. Thank you to everyone who submitted their photos and shared them on G+, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
