Food was adequate. Service was absolutely awful. Extremely rude staff who made us feel like we were inconveniencing their evening by visiting the restaurant. We encountered five staff and not one of them smiled or gave any indication they wanted us there. Service was fast but we were made feel this was to get us out as quickly as possible. Bill was slammed on the table before we asked for it and nobody thanked us for payment or visiting. Victim of its own success. I would strongly recommend you try another place as there are others were the staff will appreciate your custom.

Reviewed the Clapham Junction one, so here is my Shoreditch one... The sea brim and mango fish sauce is amazing! It is great with egg fried rice... Highly recommended! To add... Shoreditch is excellent for authentic Vietnamese food.

Food is amazingly good, the mango and shredded beef salad is delicious if you want to go for one of the less stodgy dishes. Wine is limited to one red and one white, neither are very good, so stick to the Vietnamese beers. Don't expect great customer service, the food comes quickly and not necessarily in order of how you requested it (my starter came just after I'd finished my main last time I went there.) The staff never smile.

The reviews this restaurant has must be very old! I just came out of the restaurant having paid for a meal a didn't even eat To start the waiter didn't even say hello, while chewing his food he took our order I ordered the crispy noodles, it turn out to be uncooked cold noodles from the pack!! They weren't even warm! The very rude waiter takes it back obviously unhappy about my comment and blaming me for ordering the crispy noodles After explaining him that they were cold! And impossible to blend with the sauce he still wasn't happy He goes to the kitchen to ask for normal noodles, within less than a minute I decided to leave and ask him polite to cancel the dish I didn't want He made me pay for it even thou it wasn't something I wanted I truly think the reviews of this restaurant don't reflect the reality Dirty poor customer service and obviously desperate for money I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I'm a great lover of Vietnamese food and this place came under recommendation of my girlfriend who was crazy about the soft shell crab! We went on a Sunday and got a table easily. The food was good, we had the bright yellow, very mellow curry which is nice - and a whole fish with ginger and chilli. The only thing that was really disappointing was the soft shell crab - it was different to the time we had been there before. What we got was a premade frozen crab dish that didn't taste good at all. It was different to the lightly battered delicious soft shell crab my girlfriend had had before - instead it was something in orange breadcrumbs and was full of horrible mushy liquid. I don't know why it was no longer fresh - maybe because it was a Sunday, or because the menu had changed - but I hope it was just a one off. A nice place, but in a row of Vietnamese restaurants, they need to be consistently good.

I went there on a Saturday night with a couple of friends that already knew the place. We had to wait 15-20 because it was packed with people. Had different type of spring rolls and then spicy fried sea bass. Simply loved it. Probably one of the best value for money restaurant in London!

Above average food average price and lunch discount, no service charge and the service is your average asain restaurant. Recommended if you live near by or around by ocassion.

The food here never fails to live up to expectations. From the outside it is very unassuming and doesn't stand out on a street full of Vietnamese. It's worth finding it though and there may even be a queue but the food is worth it. They have an extensive, authentic menu and it's all reasonably priced. This place used to be BYOB but now they've got their license there's a selection of beers to choose from. This is definitely one of the better places to eat on the Pho mile
