Established in 1956 by late Shri Sankarlal Chauhan who crafted garments for the erstwhile royal families of Rajasthan, Jodhpur Tailors is a pioneer in Jodhpuri suits (Bandh Gala), Sherwani and Breeches for about last one century. Late Shri Pusaram Chauhan was the personal dress designer of H.H Ummaid Singhji of Marwar. Various Tourists from all over the world love to visit Jodhpur Tailors for our inexpensive and quality offerings. The list of our esteemed clients include:- Maharaja Bhawani Singh of Jaipur Ex. Vice President of India Bhairo Singh Shekawat Apart from serving direct consumers we are also associated with Oberoi group of Hotels for various dress designing ventures.

Double breasted

A Double breasted cut which has a broad overlap and double column of buttons with straight cut at the lower half traditionally with a peaked lapel. It has 2 variants: –

one button fastened

two button fastened

Single breasted

A single breasted cut has a narrow column overlap with single column of buttons and a curved cut at the lower half with various combinations of Lapel namely notched, peaked and shawl.

Jodhpuri jacket is shorter in length as compared to the Jodhpuri Bandgala and has 2 side vents at the back.

The traditional one comes with bandh collar, having an option for besom pockets and 2, 3 and 4 pockets with flap having belt at back shoulder epaulettes.

The classic Jodhpuri Bandgala has a closed (band) two hook collar and a straight cut at the lower half. Known for its stylish cut, The Bandgala is an Indian formal evening suit suitable for various occasions.

In the recent years The Bandgala has gained popularity in many western countries. It can be worn in combination with breeches or trouser, complemented by neck scarf, pocket square and gold/silver buttons.

A Open Collar Hunter Jacket consists of 4 pockets with flap, belt at back and suede elbow patches. Its variants are:-

It has a Casual and rugged feel generally made in tweed and flannel fabrics.

Bush Coat is a fusion garment combining the cut of a jacket and the style of a shirt. Generally it has 4 pockets with flap, belt and plait at back with an option for a functional or non-functional belt. It is a casual wear garment which can be teamed with breeches, trousers and jeans, and can be accessorized with a neck scarf.

Breeches are a bottom wear which are loose from the waistline almost forming a 'c' shaped curve till knee and tightly fitted towards the ankle having chafe patches at the inside seam. The riding breeches come along with double chafe patches and double patch at the seat.

Initially worn only for polo matches by the players, breeches have now evolved as a bottom wear garment worn along with Bandgala, Bush coats, Jodhpuri Sleeveless Jacket and Hunter Jacket.
