The Powderhounds coined the term "Mad-a-Pow" some years ago when we first caught a bad case of Mad Pow disease, and on our visit in the 2017-2018 season it lived up to the hype of its slogan. The pow was absolutely mad! It snowed 1.5 metres in 2 days! New info and review here! http://www.powderhounds.com/Japan/Honshu/Madarao.aspx

Going on a multi-resort tour is the best way to get the most out of skiing and snowboarding in Japan because most of the resorts are too small to entertain advanced riders for more than a couple of days. Many tours are close to sold out. This schedules page provides availability and date info.

Your Canadian heli skiing dollar will go a long way at the moment, particularly if you're spending $US with 1USD = 1.3CAD! Some of the multi-day Canada heli skiing operations are close to being booked out for the season so if you want the ultimate in powder skiing you'd better not dawdle. http://www.powderhounds.com/Canada/Heli-Skiing.aspx
A little bit of availability left for Skeena Heli Skiing base camp. http://www.powderhounds.com/Canada/Heli-Skiing/Skeena-Heliskiing/Base-Camp-Package.aspx
And a little bit of availability for the luxury lodge heli skiing http://www.powderhounds.com/Canada/Heli-Skiing/Skeena-Heliskiing/Bear-Claw-Lodge-Package.aspx
