This is my go to metal supply company. The price is great and they will cut just about anything for you. They also have a lot that is precut. Alan Steel is great for any project.

Great place to go for all your metal needs! Browsing through their misc scrap for sale is fun and they go above and beyond to help you out no matter how small your project is. Highly recommend the entire staff!

Very high prices. Check out Naylor Steel in Hayward.

So far I've only gotten scrap metal. They have a large space out back with stacks and stacks of metal of various kinds. For my purposes, the fact that it's rusty is just fine. And the fact that it's cheap is the whole point... They also are reputed to have a large selection of new metal but I haven't gotten into that yet.
