I'm the morning anchor for WDSU News This Morning.
Introduction

Sula Kim joined WDSU as an anchor and reporter in May 2012.

Kim came to New Orleans from the Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News, Va., market, where she anchored weekend newscasts for WVEC TV and reported on events in the community. Her experience includes coverage of the Virginia Tech shooting spree in 2007 and the recent crash of a Navy F/A-18 jet into a Virginia Beach neighborhood.

Previously, Kim held reporting positions at television stations in Green Bay, Wis., and Lubbock, Tex.

The native of California has a passion for storytelling and celebrates the people, passions and culture of the Gulf Coast.

"I really love telling stories about people," Kim said. "And there are so many stories to be told in and around New Orleans. It's a magical city."
