The 2016 #ChevroletCamaro
has been given an early unveiling thanks to CNBC's Squawk Box.
While the car wasn't supposed to be unveiled until tomorrow, the television program showed several pictures of the car ahead of schedule. As a result, we can see the model will have an evolutionary design that is instantly recognizable.
The 2016 #Camaro
will be offered with three different engines. The entry-level model will reportedly have a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that develops 201kw and 392nm of torque.
Buyer looking for something more powerful can opt for a new 3.6-litre V6 which produces 246kw and 372nm of torque. We can also expect a high-performance Camaro SS with a 6.2-litre V8 engine that cranks out 328kw and 609nm of torque.
To put those numbers into perspective, the entry-level #FordMustang
has a 3.7-litre V6 engine with 223kw and 379nm of torque, while the mid-level model has a 2.3-litre #EcoBoost
four-cylinder with 231kw and 433nm of torque. Likewise, the #Mustang
GT boasts a 5.0-litre V8 with 324kw and 541nm of torque.
