Toy Story 3 in 3D by Pixar, a visually captivating and masterful story about childhood and growing up, is our pick for the #4 slot in our Top Ten Movies for Your Home 3D TV Library list. Personally I've watched this movie about 10 times with my kids, and have laughed and almost cried each time (OK, I did cry a couple times). Who else loves this movie?

The creative and dark The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D clocks in as the #5 pick in our Top Ten Movies for Your Home 3D TV Library list. The Nightmare Before Christmas is another creation by the master Tim Burton who has a long list of dark creative films ranging from Edward Scissorhands to Beetlejuice to the first two Batman movies, and he hits his mark here in this wonderfully funny and occasionally scary animated film.

The Lord of the Rings is being converted into 3D awesomeness. +1 if you'll rewatch this epic trilogy when it comes out in 3D.

LCD TV models make up over 80% of all global TV models shipped, and the rate of 3D penetration in LCD TVs is rising. Projected to be 10% in Q4 2011 and rising to 20% by Q3 2012.

With Leo DiCaprio as the voice of this 44 minute documentary, the viewer journeys through a “stunning expansive viewing experience” that "takes advantage of IMAX and 3-D technology like no other film."

On April 6th 2012 the second biggest box office hit in history (and #1 until Avatar knocked it off a few years ago) will be re-released as a new 3D movie experience. Behold! Titanic 3D! James Cameron has been busy working on the technology to convert existing 2D films into a 3D movie experience.

The creative, poignant, and dark "children's tale" of Coraline in 3D comes in at the #7 slot overall in our Top Ten 3D Movies for Your Home Library list. Although not appropriate for small children, this movie resonates with older kids, teenagers and adults alike with its fantastical animation, clever dialogue, and tight storytelling. Thor is the second and last superhero movie to make the list, a genre that lends itself particularly well to the 3D visual experience with its supernatural settings and action sequences.
