#Amazonfail: A few months ago, my wife lost her Amazon Kindle, but didn't report it through Amazon's system. When she tried to do this today, the device was not present on her Amazon account. She called Amazon, and they told her that someone had re-registered the Kindle from the device itself. Now, if Facebook, Google and just about every other service provider anywhere can send you a notification if something like that happens (for example, logging in from a new device), why can't Amazon?

Here's a thought (apologies if it's already been noted). Sometimes you are in an area with more than one available router, but none have great signals. So whatever level you set the threshold to, it is likely that WFF will keep swapping between them. Would it be possible to add a "hysteresis" level, so that it doesn't swap unless a signal at least (say) 10dBm better is found?
