Today is Earth Day, and yet the Earth is at its lowest point in history in terms of health. And while we continue destroying our one and only planet, the very elected officials we helped bring into office are doing everything they can to ignore the problem. It is for this reason that scientists and non-scientists alike have decided to come together and march for science.

These last couple of days, Facebook has been in the spotlight as it revealed the future during the F8 conference. On day one, the most notable reveal was Facebook Spaces – a mixed reality platform that puts the social in social media using virtual and augmented reality. The location of the protest: in space!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And yet, how we convey said beauty to the rest of the world has been a topic of interest and controversy over the last several decades. Do we promote it over billboards and on magazine covers or do we allow individuals to express it themselves via social media platforms like YouTube?

For tech. company ModiFace, the answer is easy: live stream it using augmented reality (AR)!
