Menu

We opened Pickled Pantry in Surbiton on 25th June 2012. It had been a dream of ours to create a ´Home From Home´ cafe & deli using fresh and locally sourced produce from local companies. We have created a comfortable environment where we hope you can feel completely relaxed and during your visit if there is anything we can do to enhance your experience then please ask, ´nothing is too much trouble´.

Here at Pickled Pantry we make everything fresh and in-house... Well nearly everything, we do not bake our own bread, however we do get it from our local bakery - 'Sucklings Bakery' on Villiers Avenue, and my god they make good bread! Jo also makes Celebration Cakescheck out the chocolate one she did the other day.

Thank you for visiting and we look forward to seeing you at Pickled Pantry, Surbiton soon.

Great standout local cafe which is quiet a feat in a pretty commuter town like Surbiton where theres a lot of competition. I agree with the other reviewer that theres a comfortable homely feeling and atmosphere. My only negative feedback would be that its a shame there isn't more seating as at times it can feel a little cramped. If you're here on a weekday its lovely to sit and read a paper or kick back with a spot of lunch and a coffee. But regardless the food and staff are always both top notch.

Very good, well made coffee. Nice flavour and not bitter. Even the Americano was strong, robust and hot. The size was bigger and better for your wallet. I'm comparing to the Press Room in Surbiton, this coffee is much better. The only downside in its quite small, thus getting crowded and full of buggies and a bit noisy.

Have eaten here on many occasions and always come back. All homemade, fresh sandwiches, cakes and specials. Owners always willing to accommodate any special requests - such as my daughter not liking rocket !!!! Refreshing to find something different to the usual bought-in cakes, and beverages sold by most other cafes. Free wifi available on request. Ideal and avoids annoying lingerers meaning you can always get a table. Very friendly with a loyal following. Ideal for friends, families and business. Cannot recommend enough.

Stumbled upon this absolute Jem of a Deli come cafe just up the road from Surbiton station. Amazing coffee, delicious food (I recommend the soup!) and superb friendly staff. I'll be going back to the Picked Pantry.

Consistently brilliant - a gem in Surbiton. George and his staff are friendly and accommodating and the coffee and food is top notch: trencher sandwiches are recommended. Skip Costa and Starbucks and head here!

The food here was freshly made and delicious- I had a parma ham open sandwich and am still thinking about it weeks later! Nice menu with delicious puddings including a locally made ice cream. The only let down was the choice of drinks, nothing interesting that was sugar free so my diabetic father had to have a glass of squash! I would have expected better service from somewhere where the food was so nice, the staff were pretty vacant to be honest.
