Looking to push as much air as possible off of a 9V brush motor.  Found a bunch of brushless types that quadracopter hobbyist use, but the current project requires brush type motors.  Anyone have any suggestions or places I can find a variety of motors?

Absolutely amazing. The original company to develop the Kinect was PrimeSense, at least the sensor that does the range sensing... They were recently purchased by Apple, wonder what's up their sleeves?

This is truly amazing!

Skeleton: anatomical correctness and gross human motion.
Block man: actual orientation of the body and its joints.
Muscle man: muscles, forces & torques as well as mass & velocity.
and last but not least...
detection of the pulse in the face!

all real time and all based only on the information extracted from the video camera (plus, I guess, some  movement prediction algorithms)...

beautiful work...

I guess, this will put a couple of companies delivering movement laboratories with equipment under some pressure (<£200)...

And I thought the Asimo was cool...

Looking for people to collaborate with.  I posted up a potential layout for a new lab in my school.  I would love to get input from people who are willing.  Maker spaces, collaborative work environments, etc.  Maybe we can set up a hangout.   Let me know if you are interested in helping out.
