My husband and I enjoyed the cabin. We stayed at Cubs Den. The cabin was very clean and exactly like the photos. The customer service was great and I loved the fully equipped cabin. Also the cabin is very private like they advertised. We will definitely be returning. My only complain is very hard to find. Its off a main road but there is no sign saying where to go until your at the cabin. Then GPS doesn't go to the right location for some reason. We actually had to call the emergency number to help us find it. Other then that great place to stay!

We stayed here 2 years ago and love this cabin and the location, so decided to stay here again this year for a family birthday celebration. Especially like that every bedroom has its own bath and that it is such a private location. On the down side, the kitchen is very poorly stocked. There was no cutting board, no potholders and no baking dishes. I was fixing a grits casserole for breakfast but could not because there was nothing to bake it in. There also was not a pitcher to serve tea in and, except for 2 bowls, no serving pieces whatsoever. Although we never needed them, I don't remember there being a toaster or can opener. There is a wonderful outdoor gazebo with rocking chairs and tables and chairs, and a hot tub and tv. The hot tub did not work (water wouldn't heat) and the tv wouldn't turn on (there was no remote). But there is a fabulous wood burning fireplace that was enjoyed by all. There is also an additional small cabin with a bedroom with 2 beds and a living area with bunk beds and a pool table and sitting area, as well as a fridge and sink area. This cabin also has its own bath. , Overall, this is a wonderful cabin but needs some TLC and the kitchen needs to be more adequately stocked. I am not a gourmet cook, but do like to have the basics. PS - There was a large mouse in the kitchen that came out from under the stove!! (this cabin was Valentine's View)

We stayed in mountain secrets from 3/10-3/12/15. The cabin was amazing! It was very clean, but the hot tub was NOT! When we checked in the man made sure to say that the hot tub was drained and cleaned, but when we got there it was already hot (even though he said it would be a couple hours) and it had a brown ring around the inside and the water had a brown film on the top. There was a skimmer bobbing around in there that was covered in brown gunk and had no chlorine in it. The water smelled like toilet water.

My family rented Valley View Cabin for a week in august of 2014. The cabin was more like a house but it worked for our needs. The hot tub was nice and the rooms were big. A few complaints would be how outdated the place it, the woodwork for the hot tub it rotting as well as the screened in porch. However the appliances were very nice. Bugs somehow creep their way into the rooms. With 2 family room areas and multiple Tvs, this place was worth the money and accommodated me and my family nicely, it is however a few miles from both pigeon forge and downtown gatlinburg. Its up a huge hill in the woods with no real good view. Dont expect too much from this place but it will do for an ok place to rest your head and make a meal.

We stayed in On the Creek cabin from 07/01/15 - 07/05/15. Generally the cabin was as portrayed in the pictures, but there are a few things that should be addressed as well as a few things that should have been portrayed more accurately. The toilet seat was a plastic cushioned type, which was torn and in very bad condition making sitting very uncomfortable. If we had been staying longer and weren't so busy enjoying Gatlinburg, I would have called and asked them to change it. The TV in the living room needs to be replaced - when you turn it on it makes a very loud and annoying screeching noise until it warms up, which is after a few minutes. The hot tub didn't have enough water in it so the water jets would alternate from no jet, to low jet to high jet - very annoying. But the thing that bothered me the most was the way the setting of the cabin was portrayed - like it was secluded and very private. Yes, we were right on the creek, but right across the creek (and no more than 20 feet from our cabin) is an RV park with barking dogs and screaming children. And right next to that is what appears to be an abandoned house with a very large "KEEP OUT" sign facing our cabin. Needless to say, we kept our blinds drawn and only went onto the deck to try out the hot tub. When we checked in the staff was very friendly and helpful. And they were very understanding when I realized after I got home that I forgot to leave one set of the keys and had to mail it back to them. I would rent from Parkside again, but now I know where to look. I would really recommend that they replace that toilet seat and the TV. Everything else could be overlooked if you are only looking for a clean place to sleep and don't mind the view.

Terrible...... Little Bear Creek....Pipes froze (no heat tape on pipes or warning to let faucets drip, it didn't get that cold really) location was said to be private and was anything but. The cabin was dirty and the neighborhood was sketchy at best.... We asked about privacy as we noticed the hot tub was not screened in the web sites pictures (their photo's are very deceiving) and the male reservation taker said it was very private. The main VERY PUBLIC ROAD to the property has a bird's eye view of the hot tub as does the private residence adjacent to property which looks like an active meth lab location. As stated by other reviewers the staff was under whelmed by our complaints and acted like they could care less. We stay often in cabins in and around Gatlinburg. We have stayed in the very expensive to the dirt cheap. This place was not the least expensive but was by far the worst we have encountered. Don't waste your money here, there are too many other places that have much better properties and customer service.

My wife and I stayed at Buckeye Creek for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The cabin was VERY SMALL, the website states they have wi-fi access and when I went into town which happens to be about 25 miles to town, the lady at the desk stated that they do not have wi-fi access. I questioned her about what is stated on the website, she said " Oh, the Wi-Fi is down and they had to order parts". I also told them that the bathroom door handle was falling off, and the cabin looked like a singlewide trailer with a cabin veneer on it.
