(Note- this is the first in a series of posts where I give practical info on stuff I use to run and play games. I started a collection for it and set the default as everyone who follows me follows it. Feel free to unfollow either.)

+Forrest Aguirre has me thinking about what I use and carry with me for gaming on the fly. One of these lives in my edc (every day carry) and it rocks:

You can get a pair for $25 shipped in the US. One side is blank the other is hexed and gridded and such. Super useful. Each comes with a dry erase marker and the bag doubles as the wipe. It folds up to the size of a fresh stack of 3x5 cards and folds out to 15x35 (inches.) It also handles wet erase and Sharpies, though you'll need to spray some alcohol on it to remove those completely.

They also have a tutorial on a Noteboard because they like to share. Dig!
Edit: I forgot to thank +Nathan Panke for turning me on to these a few years ago. Cheers, buddy!

Not strictly RPG related but close enough- I've been accepted into the G+ Trusted Tester Program for helping to make G+ a better place for us. Has anyone else been emailed about this? I hope they will take what we have to say and do something with it.

Those of you who run/play in any of the long term games/campaigns that float around here on the Plus- if you would be so kind as to list ONE item/similar point of reference from said game that can be used as a portal to said gameworld (published or not) below I would be grateful. Working on a table of Things In Your Pocket that can possibly be links to said gameworld. If you don't play on the Plus how about something that draws you to your favorite setting/module/etc.? Also, if you can tag the DM/Judge/what have you in parenthesis that'd be cool. This is going into a free doc and I'll try to include hyperlinks to product pages/relevant blogs/you know what I mean.

I'll start (no numbering necessary):

Torn strip of flesh with the symbol of An-Charro inexpertly inked into it. ( +Wayne Snyder's Warlands!)

EDIT if you don't want links going to your personal page or whatever please let me know in this thread. Thanks!

one hour and ten minutes til game time and I am challenged by a character from +James Walls's DisneyCrawlClassics and my beautiful wonderful girlfriend says 'I have that on VHS' so slamming it right now. #gameprep #dcc #ihavenoideawhatiamdoingrightnow

One of the best things about editing an +Evey Lockhart adventure is knowing that someone out there has just as fucked up a sense of humor about the human body as you do. I can't wait for this next one to hit the virtual shelves (and maybe the POD shelves?) It's gonna be a doozy, again!

I'm on this show, now.

+Diogo Nogueira sent me a late night request for editing and I helped him get this into shape. PWYW adventure title generator that also outputs item names, NPCs and whatnot. Dig it!
I've made a small resource for referees called Lost Folios of the Book of Creation - #1 Adventure Title Generator.

It's a basically a big d100 table with columns for Locations, Characters, Events, Objects and Adjectives you cam use to generate titles, both to inspire Adventures and World Creation!

And it's PWYW! So practically free, unless you want to throw us a tip!

Thanks +Jarrett Crader and +Paul Go for your attentive eyes and help!
