Applicable to anywhere- the dice rolls are centric to Troika! but can easily be adjusted to fit a normal table. Edward keeps killing it with creativity over in the Troika! community.
I made a shitty secondhand junk shop into something you might get lost in. My bus journeys are long, but gods they are full.

This app is excellent and is spotlighting some of the best chargen, random encounter, potion, what-have-you generation from the past year. If you like having your phone/tablet nearby due to inebriation levels and such then this is top notch. I'm hoping for improved recognition for applications that are making it easier for everyone to engage in gaming at the major conventions in 2018. Mad props +steve christensen!!!
The new release has finished rolling out on Google Play. Changes include:

* Generators from +Diogo Nogueira's Sharp Swords & Sinister Spells Addendum: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/219747/Sharp-Swords--Sinister-Spells--Addendum A gonzo monster generator, and lots of really fun between-adventure tables.

* And the return of some generators from Mike Riverso. He's on Patreon at Fourth Page Games https://www.patreon.com/FourthPageGames -- he recently updated his 4th Page Monster generator for World of Dungeons. Check it out!

The first review for Fever Swamp by +Luke Gearing with art and cartography by +Andrew Walter and design and layout by +Christian Kessler and bankrolled by +Daniel Sell is in.

http://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/?p=3888

I think I escaped the hammer for my editorial duties and will take 50% of the blame for the overall tightness of the fucking thing- nay, I'll take 100% of the blame for being a hard-ass - but shit, if +Bryce Lynch says we're doing something right then we're winning d&d!!!

#feverswampteaser

So, a few months back +Daniel Sell sent me a manuscript by +Luke Gearing and I started tearing into it (Luke thought I hated him at one point) and then +Andrew Walter sent in some maps and art and shortly thereafter +Christian Kessler started kicking my ass about better communication between editor and layout artist and now, soon, you will get to get sick in Fever Swamp with the rest of us.

Pictured is an inset of one of the maps that Andrew drew and Christian chopped to add to the room description section. I'm highlighting this because of the interplay between writer, artist and layout. Luke is very light (thankfully) on corridor descriptions, allowing for flow from the referee. Andrew gives you just the right amount of image to enable you to describe the physical aspects but doesn't hit you over the head with metrics ( 'this room is 10' by 10' of whatever material' - who needs that these days?) and then Christian sticks it on the page right next to the words so you don't have to flip back and forth. It just makes fucking sense!

Anyway, I just wanted to show a tiny chunk of what I think will be a solid book to add to a ref's arsenal of ready to run adventure locales. This thing has been a learning experience and I can't wait to tackle the next! Here's a hat tip to +Zak Sabbath and +Kiel Chenier for their inspiration in information delivery- make every fucking bit of that artifact count!
