It's nutrient change and haircut day :) 8 Plants in the black containers and another 8 in glass jars in the grey container. Some of the ones in the small glass containers are still struggling bit with brown roots, I'd need to look after them more often, but even the ones struggling with their roots are still doing really well on top.

Poor guy fell on the ground, so I washed off all the roots and it now has a temporary home... How would you replant it? I've been thinking about either plain soil or kratky with a medium netcup and some of these clay balls so it won't fall over.

Let's talk white flies! It seems they are mighty attracted to my tobacco and they don't seem to die like all the other pests that feed off my tobacco and they didn't seem too impressed when sprayed with neem either...

So today I completely defoliated my tobacco plants, put all the leafes into a bag and sealed it right away. I've seen hundreds of white flies on these leafes while cutting them off. I also found these yellow sticky cards to be very effective. Shake the plant and many of the white flies will instantly be attracted by the yellow card. That'll get rid of some of the adults but there are still eggs on the leafes so cutting them off is probably the best option.

So beware if you have a tobacco and see some white flies!

Update from the seedling station. Some are already topped and many are close to be topped. Running out of space in there!

Are we doing mangos now? :) Probably my fifth attempt and this is by far the best looking. Hope this one survives!

Figured I'd show off my babies. Love how the thais are already branching out, even from the seed leaves! (Thai, Jalapeno, Trinidad Scorpion Moruga, Bih Jolokia, Habanero Golden, Chile Piri Piri, Orange Squash)

How would you gain some height for the roots and nutes? It's the best I've come up with but I'm not too happy about it...
