Please read about 3 wonderful non-profits where you can repurpose your clothing. Thanks to +Ahimsa Media for also sharing with their own audience.
In doing some spring cleaning, I found out about Working Gear (which gives dress and work clothes to males who are looking for work) and the female equivalent, Dressed for Success. At younger ages, the Cinderella Project empowers girls to finish their education by providing a prom dress. All Vancouver-based non-profits. Read more on my post.

Folks, please reshare widely. I love this initiative of Fraser Health Mental Health Services and the Vancouver Canucks.
The Vancouver Canucks have done some great things, but supporting the In One Voice pledge and MindCheck.ca have earned them even more respect from me. Mental health is an important cause for me and I am thrilled that they are speaking out about depression in professional sports. http://hummingbird604.com/2012/01/27/vancouver-canucks-support-mind-check-and-the-in-one-voices-pledge-for-mental-health/
