Urban Kid! is our new youth game design and development lab.  It grew out of this spring's game design class! 

The student competition and demo event is June 18th at Howard University.  Come find out who wins $500 (sponsored by Yahoo!).

What is Scratch?

Scratch is a visual programming language and online community designed to help young (and not so young) people learn how to program. It allows 'Scratchers' to create stories, animations, games, and whatever is imagined. You can even program other devices with it (cameras, XBox, robots, and more). Prizes will be given for various projects. Come get yours! ;)
