We hosted my sister's bridal shower here on September 21st & it was such an awesome experience! We had booked La Calaca Feliz online due to us living in NYC....we are SO HAPPY we found this place! The staff was very attentive & went above & beyond what we ever expected. Zach (the manager) & Sam (our awesome waitress) were truly a pleasure! The food was phenomenal! We had so much fun with our fake mustaches & sombreros....if you are looking to throw a fiesta, this is the spot! We can't wait to go back to La Calaca Feliz the next time we visit Philly!

High quality food and service but that comes with a price. Can get similar food with worst service all over the city. I enjoyed the special cocktail and my squash tacos. Some people will complain that entrees don't come with rice & beans but they make this very clear and I liked it as I rarely have room for either.

A bit on the pricy side for this type of cuisine, especially with so many other options in town - but, everything is amazingly delicious. Check this place out at least once as it is really good. Recommend getting a reservation on the weekend and it is a busy place.

We call this place "Waka Flaka Calaca" for absolutely no reason, other than it sounding straight gangsta. The drink menu is amazing - if anything, I would go just for the margaritta menu. The food is upscale Mexican, but not TOO upscale. It fits perfectly in the neighborhood and is a great spot for a night out, or a drink after work.

Wow! This place is insane. The flavors are unimaginable. Every bite is like nothing else. How could they get so much flavor into each little morsel of food. Very low pricing in general, especially for the city.
