We just got Banner Communication Management to send a message to multiple email addresses for each person in our population. Previously, we were looking at sending to only one email address per person.

We frequently pass along code via Gmail. If I am the recipient of code, I usually grab the code and paste into Toad or SQL Navigator for better readability using the syntax color scheme.

So let's say I want to send an email message with a couple of lines of code like this:

select 'Hello, world! ' || round(12432.5253, 2)
from dual;

I just found that if I copy my code that I want to send into Microsoft Word (or OpenOffice Writer) first, I can get the rich text version with the Toad or SQL Navigator syntax color scheme in the email (see image).

For some reason, I can't seem to go from SQL Navigator or Toad directly to Gmail, but the interim step at least provides the nicer-looking output.

See below for the much more readable result!
