Neat video.  I liked the outside decorations and watching Lorca being printed on the cups.  Watching the latte being made was pretty cool too!

So a couple of weeks ago I started messing around with blogger to help +Jaimie Merrell out with a blog for her business Jaimie Ware. I made a little test blog for myself and have been posting about my photography and things I come across on the internet. Unlike my past blogs this isn't any sort of business or "thing" I'm trying to start. Just a place to put stuff.

I hired R. Hollander to craft a custom engagement ring and was so happy with it that my wife and I commissioned them to make our wedding bands as well! Russ and Kate were always very friendly when we visited and talked with us at length about the design before beginning work. They made recommendations on metal and gems that fit our budget and never once made us feel like we couldn't have the rings we dreamed of.

My wife and I hired Catering by Christine to provide cocktail hour and dinner service for our wedding reception on June 27 at the Darien Community Association. They were extremely helpful and easy to work with for the entire process. We booked them about a year in advance and our phone calls and emails were always answered promptly whenever we had a question. They were even able to make a few last minute changes to accommodate our guests celebrating Ramadan. Pete worked with us to come up with a selection of drinks, meals, and hors d'oeuvres that fit our budget. In addition to passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres, we offered a plated meal with four options (Beef, Chicken, Fish, and Vegetarian) on the RSVP card. All of the meals were served to our 107 guests within 8-10 minutes of dinner starting. The guests all raved about the quality of the food days after the event (pro tip - get the lobster mac and cheese)! Dessert and coffee was served by the staff from a single station and the line moved incredibly quickly. At the end of the night clean up was completed in 15-20 minutes. I also want to commend Tiffany, the manager for the day, on her professionalism. She arrived about 30 minutes before scheduled to check out the venue and paid close attention to all of the details I told her about. When we arrived after the wedding everything was set up and looked beautiful!

My wife and I booked the Darien Community Association for our wedding reception on June 27. The entire process was very easy and Laura, the events coordinator, was extremely helpful answering questions and arranging times for our vendors to view the property prior to the event. Steve, the grounds manager, was very friendly and helpful especially during set up and break down.

My wife and I hired James Daniel Entertainment to provide DJ and Lighting Services for our wedding reception on June 27 at the Darien Community Association. They were extremely helpful and easy to work with for the entire process. The light crew set everything up a day in advance and returned at the end of the night to collect everything with no damage to the venue. We had 107 guests at our reception and Jimmy did a great job getting them all up and dancing after dinner. The online program for uploading our requests prior to the event was very easy and Jimmy even was even able to play an obscure track off of someone's phone through his system the night of the party.

Lorca is undoubtedly the best coffee shop in Stamford. They are continually bringing in new flavorful roasts that perfectly compliment their variety of soups, sandwiches, and baked goods. The baristas are also extremely knowledgeable and take the time to make perfect espresso drinks. The shop is small enough to feel cozy if you're trying to relax but large enough to accommodate a group of people if you're having a casual business meeting or catching up with friends. They also offer special order full cakes, pies, and other desserts with several gluten free options.
