Menu

After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with our own Cooper’s Hawk wines, made in our own private winery. With sophisticated food and exceptional wines, our concept was born.

The Cooper’s Hawk concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private barrel-aging room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store…all under one roof. Each Cooper’s Hawk location is distinctive in layout and décor, but carries the same warmth and elegance that guests have come to expect.

We went on Tuesday night for my birthday. The hostess said a 45 minute wait. Okay, so I decided to try their $7 8-wine wine tasting (this was a good deal!). 3 wines in and 10 minutes later the table was ready. We were told the table will wait until we were done with the wine tasting. Well my fiance does not drink wine so he had to go to the table and wait for me to finish. I had to chug the rest of the wine. She skipped a wine too so I only got 7. I didn't say anything because I wanted to get to the table and pours were generous. The server was decent. Attentive, not too crowding. Our Sangria's were good as well. The food was okay. He said his prime rib sandwich was better at BJ's and the fries were not seasoned. My chicken saltimbocca was okay. Tender but not very flavorful. Also, the ramekin of ketchup that came out with the fries had 2 hairs intertwined with a piece of fuzz. Gross. Only noticed after I already dipped a fry. We told our server and then another man brought out new ketchup (manager?) and asked if something was in our ketchup and was it a hair. We told him it was and he dropped the ketchup and ran. As someone that has worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years including managing fine dining restaurants I felt that we should of been talked to a bit more than dropping a new ketchup off. I don't expect anything for free but even an introduction "Hi I'm the manager here and sorry about that, etc" would of been pleasant. We won't be back.

Would give it 5 stars except for price. But a great place with good food and interesting wine.

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! It has a great environment, providing a very classy but casual/modern feel at an affordable price. They're known for their wines and I can see why (highly recommend the orange moscato). The food is simply amazing! I had their egg rolls for an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Service was also excellent and very friendly. Great place for a first date, to unwind after work with friends, or to just have great food and wine.

Just dined here this past friday and I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the service (Zachariah) to the food, it was all excellent. This was the best dining experience I've ever had at Easton. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

Cooper's Hawk is the total experience! Fabulous service, spectacular selection of wines and a vast menu that will tempt every palate. Our anniversary dinner last night was attractively presented, well prepared and delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were seated at a wide u-shaped table, with enough room for 3 people across back of seat, but there was only 3 of us total. Kind of awkward bc to sit on each side of table we were really far apart from each other. Server was quiet, I didn't feel like she was knowledgeable about wine or the menu. She did warn me though that it would cost $9 extra to add a black bean patty to a veggie sandwich, so I ordered something else. Her timing was way off, we sat for 20 minutes plus waiting for her to clear plates. The lights were bright like a cafeteria, and there was a huge cold draft blowing down on our table. With it being 0 degrees outside, that was kind of a bummer. The food was good, even though one of us didn't like her dish and sat with it in front of her until the server came to clear plates 40 minutes after it was served. Too late to order something else. The server did take meal off of our bill. Dessert was really good. Free samples of any wine you wanted to try, so that was nice. But the whole experience, not impressed.

We stopped into Cooper's Hawk for lunch this past weekend and had the best service I've ever received. Charles was our waiter and let me tell you, he MADE the whole experience. Funny, made recommendations, attentive, polite. The experience was great overall, but the service was what stood out this particular time - the food and wine are always good :)

This place was one of the highlights of our visit to Easton. My wife and I loved the wine tasting, which was followed by a great dining experience. The restaurant was very busy, but the food was worth the wait. We will surely come back again.
