Cold Vs. Heat
Ice is the recommended treatment for acute injuries. It is especially helpful to reduce swelling and control pain. Ice is most effective when it is applied early and often for the first 48 hours. Heat, on the other hand, increases circulation and raises skin temperature. #ColdTherapy

Ice massage can be a great pain reliever. Fill a small paper cup about half way and freeze it. Tear the unfilled portion of the cup off and massage the tender area. You can continue to tear the cup away as the ice melts. #ColdTherapy
