There are many reasons to be concerned with the #irandeal . The international community will be relying on the International Atomic Energy Agency for inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities. The Iranians have been lying to the IAEA for a long time about their facilities and weapons capabilities.
Under the agreement, #Iran will get about $150 billion from unfrozen assets in foreign banks. It is easy to imagine that some of this money will be sent to Iran’s #terror proxies across the #MiddleEast, including the Houthis in #Yemen, the #Assad regime in #Syria, #Hezbollah in Lebanon and #Hamas in the #Gaza Strip.
Another problem with this agreement is that it will encourage #nuclear proliferation across the region. Since the #Arabworld largely shares #Israel’s concerns about Iran and this nuclear deal, many countries in the area will push to acquire weapons of their own.

The event took place in conjunction with other festive ceremonies, which included the ambassador's credential-presentation ceremony, where he presented his credentials to the President of Paraguay Horacio Cartes on 21 July, and the affixing of a new mezuzah at the Israeli Embassy in #Asunción.

The #irandeal   poses a grave threat to the region and the world, but especially to #Israel. Israel was not a party to the negotiations and is not bound by this deal.

Israeli Consul General in NY:
Here is why you should be worried about the #Iran nuclear deal: The agreement does not prevent Iran over time from threatening #America and her allies with #nuclearwar. It does not permanently prevent Iran from getting #nuclearweapons. But there’s more.
The most significant problem with this agreement, which is discussed far too little, is that it does nothing to address, much less curb, Iran’s expansionist, anti-Israel, anti-American motivations.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued the following statement in wake of the murder of Ali Dawabshe:
"I am shocked over this reprehensible and horrific act. This is an act of #terrorism in every respect. The State of Israel takes a strong line against terrorism regardless of who the perpetrators are. I have ordered the security forces to use all means at their disposal to apprehend the murderers and bring them to justice forthwith. The Government of Israel is united in its strong opposition to such deplorable and awful acts. On behalf of the citizens of #Israel, I would like to share in the sorrow of the family of Ali Dawabshe and wish a quick recovery to the family members who were injured."

An investigation by the Israel Security Agency (ISA) and Israel #Police led to the indictment of two people for involvement in the 18 June 2015 #arson on the premises of the #Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes at #Tabgha on the Sea of Galilee.
#Israel, as a state and a society, is obligated to protect and preserve the holy sites, for all faiths.

PM Netanyahu: "We are faced with a very unstable world, which presents new dangers. The dangers come primarily from militant #Islam, led by radical #Shiites headed by #Iran, or by radical #Sunnis, at the moment headed by #ISIS. These are two formidable dangers."

#Arab rioters exploit the #alAqsa #mosque for attacks during Jewish holy day
On Sunday morning, a group of young Arab men rioted on the @TempleMount/ Haram al-Sharif plaza in #Jerusalem 's Old City. The riots were launched with the intent of disrupting visits by Jews to the Temple Mount plaza - the holiest site in #Judaism - during Tisha B'Av (the 9th of Av), a holy day of mourning to commemorate the destruction of the first and second Jewish Temples, as well as to interrupt the normal visits of tourists to the plaza and attack Israel police officers.
Officers entered the compound shortly after 7:30 a.m., after receiving intelligence that a large group of masked #Palestinian youths had barricaded themselves overnight in al-Aqsa mosque in order to attack Jewish visitors on Sunday morning. The police were attacked immediately upon entering the Temple Mount compound by Palestinians armed with rocks, firebombs, fireworks and metal pipes. Four officers were lightly wounded during the confrontation.

 The #GazaStrip one year after #Operation #ProtectiveEdge

The drastic decrease in #rocketfire from the Gaza Strip has been caused by #Hamas' policy of restraint, the result of its desire to gain time to restore its military-terrorist capabilities, which were severely damaged in Operation Protective Edge.
